Technical Architecture

Local Text Extraction
We use Tesseract.js WASM and PDF.js Workers to parse and extract text directly within the user's browser, preventing raw document upload to servers.
Structured AI Mapping
OpenAI API maps clinical parameters into a standardized JSON response format. The prompt maps indicators strictly against referenced guidelines.
Empathetic Presentation
A calming UI presents normal vs. abnormal findings, explanations of what each value does, and translates results in real-time to local Indian languages.
Privacy-by-Design
Healthcare data is personal. MediScan AI features zero database storage, zero signups, and zero persistence. All processed files exist only in local browser memory and disappear when you close the tab.
